Des Moines is a developing community of the Central Plains Area. It was chartered January 31, 2020 with initial Community Coordinator Ian Nelson-Johnson. The Des Moines community is comprised of Polk, Story, Marshall, Madison, Boone, Dallas, and Jasper counties in Iowa.
